Construction

Construction of a new inground swimming pool starts with excavation followed by steel reinforcement and plumbing.

After the homeowner and the builder decide the layout of the pool, the site is excavated. After excavation steel reinforcement is added and all plumbing is installed. The next process is the shotcrete.

The shotcrete is a mixture of cement, sand, and small rock. It is applied at high pressure to the structure as seen here. Once applied at a desired thickness it is carved by hand like a sculpture.

Shotcreet for the in ground pool is carved by hand like a sculpture.
Tile and decking are added to the pool when the shotcrete has been applied and sculpted.

Here is what the pool looks like after the shotcrete has been applied and sculpted. The next process is the addition of tile and the type of decking determined by the owner.

Here is a picture showing the process of building the rock waterfall and rock deck. This process is very unique, it takes allot of imagination to make something look so natural and beautiful.

A rock waterfall can be added to the pool making it look natural and beautiful.
The completion of the swimming pool is the homeowners dream come true.

This is the final outcome of both the homeowners dreams and a builders desire to make a dream come true.
